Golden Sands Get One-Run Win at Clifton
The Aberdeen Golden Sands defeated the Clifton Dons, 4-3, in Appalachian Mountain League action at Clifton Stadium. Aberdeen pitcher Kenny Boone had a standout performance. Jing-quo Jiu picked up the save for Aberdeen, his 2nd of the year. Aberdeen has a record of 3-3.

Dae-hyung Chang, the 28-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Chang contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Aberdeen up, 4-3.

"I'm the humblest guy I know," Chang told a local reporter without a hint of irony.
