Deltas Collect 6-3 Win Over Orcas
|
Sacramento pitcher George Ladd did his part in helping his team beat the Victoria Orcas, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Sacramento has a record of 5-4.
Sacramento used the timely hitting of Gelana Naybet to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Deltas on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
Ladd told a Sacramento Times reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
