Scots Deal Old Guard Painful Loss
Getting offensive support from Lance Howell, the Dunedin HS Scots topped the Tainan City HS Old Guard, 4-3. Howell was 1-2 with a double and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI for the Scots. Dunedin HS reliever Joshua Cooper picked up the win to move to 1-0. Kosaku Kikuchi suffered the loss. Tainan City HS falls to 1-1.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Howell. Facing Kosaku Kikuchi with the bases loaded, the Dunedin HS designated hitter had a run-scoring walk. Game over, walk-off style!
