Underground Snatch Late Win

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The London Underground defeated the Scottish Claymores, 3-0, in Imperial League action at The Castle. London pitcher Andrew Bevan had a standout performance. Bevan got the win, improving to 10-3. He allowed 5 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. Bevan allowed no runs. Cecil Langley, credited with the save, is now 12 for 15 in save opportunities.
London used a clutch hit from Giampaolo Eremitani to snatch the win. The designated hitter belted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Underground ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said London manager Jorge Ornelas.
With the win, the Underground have a record of 70-48.
