Takafumi Samurakami helped his team muscle past the Puerto Plata Pacos, 7-6. In the game, the Bridgetown third baseman hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Louis Blenkinson went 7 innings for Bridgetown to pick up the win. The left-hander was charged with 3 runs. He scattered 4 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 5. His record improves to 2-1.

Bridgetown took a 7-3 lead on Samurakami's 37th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Mario Beyeman in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Bridgetown to the win.
