Bureaucrats Drop Trendsetters, 5-1

Arlington pitcher Troy Rush did his part in helping his team beat the New Orleans Trendsetters, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Bureaucrats raised their record to 37-82.
The Trendsetters had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Bureaucrats going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 29-year old first baseman Vincente Gallardo came to the plate. Gallardo hit a solo home run on a 2-1 fastball from New Orleans hurler Luis López. It was Gallardo's 6th home run of the year.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Rush told a Arlington Herald reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
