The Scottish Claymores had to overcome a fine effort from Havana pitcher Jason Baker to grab a narrow 4-3 win at The Castle. Baker went 9 innings and allowed 4 runs. Kyle Colquhoun, credited with the win, is now 12-3. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The first-place Claymores have won 5 in a row.

The clutch hit was provided by Tsuginori Takahashi. He delivered a walk-off solo home run off Jason Baker in the bottom of the tenth.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Havana skipper Félix Collazo, "and it cost us."
