The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

The London Underground overcame a fine performance by Kentucky designated hitter Dan Gore to defeat the Thoroughbreds, 12-10, at Pearson Metropolitan Park. Gore hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 7. The Underground' win now puts them at 69-43.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with London trailing 10-9, Giampaolo Eremitani jumped on a first pitch sinker from Odmar Bickford for a 3-run home run, sending the Underground to a walk-off win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Eremitani told reporters after the game.
