Right-hander Kyle Johnstone mesmerized the Aurora Borealis while leading the Yuma Arroyos to a 4-0 victory. The win puts the Arroyos at 40-65, while the Borealis drop to 54-51.
Júlio Velásquez hit a 2-run triple off Jung-hyun Yi in the top of the first, which put the Arroyos in front, 2-0. Velásquez had 2 walks, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
"Kyle is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Yuma manager Kiyohisa Takeda.
