Starting pitcher António García had a solid game. He was a big reason the Osakasayama Swamp Dragons throttled the Maui Mahi-Mahi, 6-2. Robbie Williams finished to wrap up his 20th save. With the win, the Swamp Dragons have a record of 54-28.

Yoshisada Shimizu had a big 2-run double for the Swamp Dragons in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Osakasayama trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Víctor Cedeño and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Swamp Dragons ahead, 3-2.

"It's always extra special to win at home," said Shimizu.
