The Ewa Beach Imperialists topped the Mokule'ia Oceanic, 4-1, in Hawaiian League action at Lost Island Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Ewa Beach pitcher and North Las Vegas, Nevada, native Erik Jackson. Troy Thomas converted his 7th save in 9 tries. The Imperialists sport a record of 59-19.

Ewa Beach needed the clutch hitting of Josh Shipway to notch the win. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Imperialists on top, 2-1. For the game, Shipway had 1 home run and 1 single in 2 at-bats.
