Though the conditions were not ideal, the Port Lincoln HS Trawlers and Tokoha Gakuen Kikugawa HS Jiten came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Port Lincoln HS Trawlers knocked off the Tokoha Gakuen Kikugawa HS Jiten, 5-3, at Jiten Stadium. Robert Aiton was a big reason Port Lincoln HS won. The shortstop went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. César Sepúlveda got the save, the 14th for him this season.

The Jiten had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Trawlers going into the top of the second inning. That changed quickly when the 16-year old third baseman Randolph Brigatti came to the plate. Brigatti hit a 2-run home run on a 1-0 fastball from Tokoha Gakuen Kikugawa HS hurler Jack Scott. It was Brigatti's 5th home run of the year.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Brigatti told the Port Lincoln HS Daily News.

The Trawlers raised their record to 28-13.
