Privateers Topple Pacos with Late Rally
The Port Royal Privateers went home winners at Tanks Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Pedro Martínez. Martínez stifled the Puerto Plata Pacos, enabling Port Royal to grab the 5-1 win. The win was credited to Shigeki Hori in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Will McBeolain took the loss. Port Royal goes to 19-21, Puerto Plata to 15-25.

Steve Moore, who is tied for 10th in the IBC in hits with 43, aided the Port Royal cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk.

"We played hard and won," said Martínez. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
