Aurora right fielder Masamichi Daikawa played a vital role in his team's 6-2 triumph over Yuma. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Aurora. Brenden Clymo went 5 innings for Aurora to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs. He scattered 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record improves to 8-8. Aurora is third in the Sovereign League Desert Hills with a record of 52-45.
Aurora grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Daikawa hit a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Borealis out in front, 4-2.
"Good win for us," said Daikawa. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
