Spirited fans greeted the Asmara Modernists for their clash with the Port Sudan Tycoons.

The Port Sudan Tycoons topped the Asmara Modernists, 12-7, the lion's share of the credit going to designated hitter Natsume Tenno. On the day, Tenno went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs for the Tycoons. Port Sudan reliever Takesi Kichida picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Gilberto Marín was tagged with the loss. Bernardo Echevarría notched his 2nd save in 2 chances.

Port Sudan relied on the hitting of Ty Collum to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Tycoons on top, 8-3. For the game, Collum had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Port Sudan manager Pedro Barrón.
