The Djibouti Soldato downed the Khartoum Raiders, 5-4, at Djibouti Park. The Soldato were led by Rod O'Neil. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Soldato, at 15-13, sit in 4th place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Red Sea League.
Pedro Soto won the game for Djibouti when homered off Owen Brenton in the bottom of the ninth.
