Extra-Inning Win by Stevedores Over Devils

The Brisbane Stevedores bested the Hobart Devils by a score of 5-2, with first baseman Augusto Rivera getting the main credit. On the day, Rivera went 1-1 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Stevedores. The winner was Graham Geary in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Raúl Pérez took the loss. The Stevedores, at 24-23, sit in third place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Tasman League.
The Stevedores got a clutch hit from first baseman Augusto Rivera. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a 3-run home run to win the game for the Stevedores.
"This team is real focused right now," said Brisbane manager Joe O'Sullivan.
