Dragons Pull Off Thrilling 7-6 Win in Extras
The Daegu Dragons topped the Busan Whales, 7-6, in Intercontinental Baseball Coalition action at Pusan Field. The standout performance belonged to Daegu pitcher and Forfar, Scotland, native Fraser MacGeechan. Daegu reliever Steve Field was the winner. His record is now 3-3. The losing pitcher was Lance Albracht. Shane Sheldon was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 13 save opportunities.

Daegu needed the clutch hitting of Won-chul Sin to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Dragons on top, 7-6. For the game, Sin had 1 home run and 1 single in 2 at-bats.

"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Jared Craig, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."

The losses continue to mount for Busan, which has now dropped 8 in a row.
