The Kilauea Volcanoes went down to defeat to António García and his Osakasayama teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the Swamp Dragons. Robbie Williams earned the save for Osakasayama, his 14th of the year. Osakasayama currently is in first place in the Hawaiian League Ninja at 40-22.
Alexander Patrick made an early impact for Osakasayama when he stroked his 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with one out in the bottom of the third, put the Swamp Dragons on top, 3-0.
"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Chris Simpson.
