The Amsterdam Lions and Manchester Maulers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Amsterdam Lions got a superb performance from pitcher Armando Sánchez, but the Manchester Maulers still won the game, 5-3. Sánchez threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Dong-hyun Pak converted his 28th save in 34 tries.
Manchester took advantage of an error in the top of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Pablo Orocumojica hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Manchester in front, 5-3.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Orocumojica told the Manchester Herald.
Manchester is in 4th place in the Imperial League Seaboard with a record of 70-79.
