The London Underground beat the Florida Farstriders by a score of 7-5. London right fielder Eichiro Nakashima deserved the lion's share of the credit. Nakashima slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Underground. London reliever Masuhiro Abe was the winner. His record is now 3-1. León Zamora took the loss. Jorge Ruíz picked up the save, his 12th.

London relied on the hitting of Zak Osmond to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Underground on top, 6-5. For the game, Osmond had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Good win for us," said Nakashima. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
