The Shirakawa Halberds knocked off the Kailua Hanso, 12-9, at Blue Birds Ballpark. Blair Vessy was a big reason Shirakawa won. The shortstop was 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Ryu Suzuki snagged the win in relief. In 2 innings, the left-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits.
