Getting an impressive start from Van Frazier, Taipei beat Kuwana by the score of 5-2. With the win, the Wardens improved to 33-52.
Had it not been for Armando Díaz, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Wardens were trailing 2-1, Díaz hit a 2-run single for Taipei, giving his team the lead.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Frazier told the Taipei Chronicle. "Whatever it takes."
