The home crowd had a good time watching the Aurora Borealis and Niihama-shi Ghosts get after it.

Niihama-shi left fielder John MacVurich helped his team beat the Aurora Borealis, 8-1. MacVurich, who is tied for 2nd in the SL in home runs with 22, went 2 for 3 for the Ghosts. Niihama-shi pitcher Dave López got the win. He's now 7-1. Henry Cluett was tagged with the loss.

Gilberto Fernández, who finished 5th in the IL in home runs with 31 in 2034, contributed to the Niihama-shi win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.

"We came out aggressive," said Ghosts manager Chris Harris. "We came out swinging the bats."

With the win, the Ghosts have a record of 54-31.
