Baysiders Defeat Physicists, 4-2
The ETH Zurich Physicists got a superb performance from pitcher Piotr Lietzke. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Sarnia Canada. The Baysiders won the game, 4-2. Lietzke threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Sarnia Canada reliever Jim Brooks picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Piotr Lietzke was saddled with the loss. David Guzmán finished to wrap up his 6th save.

Sarnia Canada designated hitter Perry Rawlings contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a sinker into right field for a 2-run single. It was his 22nd hit of the season and put the Baysiders ahead, 3-1.

"Winning never gets old," said Rawlings.

With the win, Sarnia Canada raised its record to 16-7.
