Cuan drives in 3 runs, Leads Mules to Win
|
The Instituto Politecnico Nacional Mules beat the San Juan College Oceans, 6-2, at The Stables. Instituto Politecnico Nacional catcher Yuan-zhang Cuan had an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. John Curwen was credited with the save for Instituto Politecnico Nacional, his 6th of the season. The Mules go to 8-13 with the win.
Mark Lacey drove in one run for Instituto Politecnico Nacional. The 20-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Juan Jose Reyna. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Cuan, "one at-bat at a time."
