The Taipei Wardens and Edo Battousai were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Pitcher Chris Hamm was sensational for the Edo Battousai in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Taipei Wardens. Hamm picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Hamm, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks. Brad Robinson was credited with the save for Edo, his 3rd of the season.
One critical moment came with no one down in the bottom of the ninth. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Wardens trailing 4-0, Brad Robinson retired Tony Torres with a good curveball. Torres struck out.
The loss lowers the Taipei record to 3-12.
