Jade Tigers Sneak By Battousai, 3-2
The Gwangju Jade Tigers scored a tight 3-2 win versus the Edo Battousai at Newark Grounds. Gwangju pitcher John Neish held his own in the contest. Edo now is 5-4.

The result might have been different for Gwangju, had it not been for Jack Allen, the former first round draft pick . Allen stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 19th inning to put Gwangju up, 3-2. For the game, he had 2 doubles and 2 singles in 8 at-bats.

"Win or lose, it's not the end of the world," said Allen.
