Remuda Handle Deltas, 5-3
|
The Boise Remuda dealt the Sacramento Deltas a 5-3 loss at Boise Ballpark. Michael Hanson was the star on offense. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. Shi-young Yo earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. Takiji Yamada was credited with the save for Boise, his 3rd of the season.
Had Dylan Calcutt not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Calcutt hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Remuda.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Calcutt told the Boise Daily News.
Boise bumps their record to 86-66 with the win.
