The Boise Remuda got a superb performance from pitcher Yub Issa. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Sacramento. The Deltas won the game, 3-1. Issa threw 7.2 innings allowing 3 runs. Sacramento reliever Félix González picked up the win, raising his record to 4-8. Yub Issa was tagged with the loss. With the win over Boise, the Deltas improved to 79-59.
The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Miguel Romero came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Boise pitcher Yub Issa, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Sacramento on top, 2-1.
Romero said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
