Late Magic Gets Yasu 7-5 Win
The Yasu Storks picked up a win at Dole Park, knocking off the Lana'i City Pineapples, 7-5. Starting pitcher Alberto Costa was a big reason why. The win belongs to Derrek Hunter in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Wilson Scott took the loss for Lana'i City. Earning his 6th save for Yasu was Huibrecht van T Hof.

Yasu relied on the bat of Steve Wall to get the win. The center fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Storks ahead, 5-4. For the game, Wall had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"We ground out the win," said Wall. "That's all that matters."

At 11-18, the Storks find themselves in 4th place in the Hawaiian League Ninja.
