Ewa Beach Hot Streak Continues with 11-5 Win
Ernesto Puente was a major contributor to the 11-5 Ewa Beach win over Maui. The Imperialists shortstop was 1-2 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Eisaku Sato. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Ewa Beach, now 10-2, has gotten their season off to a good start.

The Imperialists got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Myoung-chul Hwang. For the game, Hwang was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
