Huffman belts 2 home runs to Power Capitals Offense
|
No one was more impactful than Tony Huffman in the 10-3 Sitka win over Barrow. Huffman, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2037 draft, hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 2. Their 25-43 record puts the Capitals last in the Alaskan League Oiler.
Cary Bickel hit a 2-run triple off Mike Harvey in the bottom of the first, which put the Capitals in front, 3-2. Bickel had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Bickel told the Sitka News. "It's as simple as that."
