Victory Takes Remuda to 69-54
|
The Sacramento Deltas and Boise Remuda riveted fans at Boise Ballpark.
The Boise Remuda got a stellar performance from pitcher Bayesa Msamaki, who handcuffed the Sacramento offense en route to a win, 7-2, at Boise Ballpark. In 8.1 innings, Msamaki surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
The Remuda got a big at-bat from shortstop Will Simpson. For the game, Simpson was 2 for 4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Boise a 2-0 lead.
