The Aurora Borealis beat the Fargo Dinosaurs, 5-3. Aurora pitcher and Annas Retreat, US Virgin Islands, native Brenden Clymo led the way. Toshikuni Kichida was called on to finish, recording his 5th save. The Borealis raised their record to 72-70.

Aurora used a well-timed hit by José Alemán to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Borealis ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

After the game, Alemán refused to speak to a reporter for the Aurora Bulletin. "You've accused me of throwing teammates under the bus," he said. "So, excuse me if I decline to answer your questions."
