The Union City HS Hillers got a good effort from starter Zak Sanders in defeating the West Lauderdale HS Knights at Ballpark of West Lauderdale HS. The final score was 2-1. The winning pitcher was Sanders, now 2-2. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3. Paul Danagher earned the save for Union City HS, his 6th.
