Both teams had their chances, but the Victoria Orcas eventually prevailed.

The Victoria Orcas had to overcome a fine performance from Boise pitcher Jesús Merlano to grab a 1-0 win at Saint Petersburg Grounds. Merlano allowed 1 run over 8 innings.
