Cunningham Leads Deltas to 6-3 Win Over Oilers
Sacramento and Long Beach duked it out and the Deltas came out victorious.

Alex Cunningham knocked in all 6 runs for the Sacramento Deltas, helping them beat the Long Beach Oilers, 6-3. José Valdéz got the win, improving to 2-4. He held the Oilers to 3 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 3.

With Sacramento leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, Cunningham hit a fastball from Juan Jose Machado for a 3-run home run. It was his 24th home run of the season and put the Deltas ahead, 6-2.

"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Cunningham.

Sacramento raised its record to 56-45 with the win.
