Baldwin Plays Big Role in Victoria Win
|
Ken Baldwin was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Victoria and Sacramento. The Orcas right-hander helped his team beat the Deltas, 3-1. The save went to Mark de Vries, his 8th this season. The Orcas sit in 4th place in the Humboldt with a record of 48-49.
Baldwin, who was born in Mastic, New York, threw 101 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing 1 run.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Victoria manager Gerald Stone.
