MacIlraith Helps Capitals Beat Winds, 6-3
Fraser MacIlraith left his imprint on the 6-3 Sitka win against the Taku Winds. MacIlraith, the 4th overall pick in the 2039 draft, hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Tetsuhiko Sumita recorded the save for Sitka, his 1st of the season. The Capitals, with only their 4th win in 16 games, have not had much to write home about in 2039.

The Capitals had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 6-3, Sitka, with one out. Taku, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Joseph Hollinshed dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 fastball, he struck out.
