It wasn't easy but the Aguadilla Roadrunners made it look that way.

Starter Manuel Piñal shut out the Trujillo Alto Maracas despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Aguadilla Roadrunners cruised to victory, 2-0. Piñal allowed only 2 hits and rang up 3 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."

This season Piñal has compiled a 10-3 record with a 1.82 ERA in 14 starts.
