Roadrunners Post 5-2 Win Over Guaynabo
|
Aguadilla rode a decent outing from starter Jorge Valentín to victory over the Guaynabo Commandos. The final score was 5-2. At 15-11, the Roadrunners have a slim two-game lead in the San Juan Winter League.
Aguadilla relied on the hitting of Cisco Heredia to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Roadrunners on top, 2-0. For the game, Heredia had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We want to make a habit of winning," Heredia said after the game.
