Johnson became expendable since we signed free agent Cruz. Koizumi is coming back to us after 1 year he spent in SS minor leagues (maybe he learned few things in there). Sato should give us additional bullpen depth.

Johnson should be a decent fill in platoon partner for German Hernandez after Glavan was dealt. Johnson has a solid glove and some solid power, especially against lefties. He should be able to provide a some cost controlled value in 200 or so PA's per season, at least until I find a better option.

Sato has some talent, but was out of options with no spot for him in SS. Hopefully he gets a good opportunity in SA.
