Sounds like you'll have to do it again. If you've done extensive work, I can suggest:

1) Go to your team reports and take a print out of each roster (open in external browser, then print/save)
2) Jot down any coaches activity you've done.
3) Go to your pending offers list and jot that down

That should get you most the way there. :(

Thanks Ron... ill take screen shots before I import. I did alot of extensive work on the team this week. I'm slightly annoyed that we are advancing in time as well since I made some moves anticipating moving down the calendar.

There is very little about this kind of reboot that isn't at least a little bit annoying. }:-)

Having been on both sides of the process, basically you just kind of strap in and realize the guys are doing the best they can do.

EDIT: I do these reports on a browser export so I can dump them to excel, and then use the spreadsheet as a checksheet for getting everything done again ...

Oh I agree with you Ron. Being new I would have saved myself alot of time knowing this. I'm glad that it was mentioned before Monday so I didn't lose everything.

Edit: thank you for the pro tip!

Yes I'm sorry that we're mucking up everyone's hard work but of course the structure of the PEBA file is no longer as it was and we're afraid that imports from the old structure might cause a cosmic bang and destabilise the whole file. So as Ron says if you have exported please make a note of your changes ( the transaction logs for each team will show the players promoted & demoted) and offers. No exports will be imported so unfortunately your work will have to be redone

So will tonight's Sim include the exports from the last Sim, even with the conversion to 17?

Yes, the exports, trades and other things will all be processed as a normal sim and then instead of uploading the completed file as normal it will be converted to ootp17.

Dan will post a set of instructions for getting the new file when the conversion is complete. 16 is dead, long live 17

So when will the new file be up for downloading? The post at the top of the forum suggests it's ready - but where? I tried DLing the Full File from the Home Page, but no go...

I assume we'll need all the gmaccounts files and whatnot, too.

If I'm reading the schedule right, we're looking at a two-day sim on Saturday, right? Then we can actually load ST rosters?

Apropos of nothing, can I just say how nice it is to have that announcements box at the top of the main screen that includes the sim status and a link to this schedule thread? I know we've had it for a while now, but man, it makes knowing our schedule SOOOOOO much easier than it used to.

Great job for making that Dan! :angelic-green: :bang:
