Opening Day 2016

#1 Post by Mike Dunn »

Play ball!
:slugger: :chatter:

And what better way to start the season than with this little fact:nearly one-quarter of the Indians' payroll goes to non-Indians.

Scooter Gennett is on pace to hit 162 HR, all off of Madison Bumgarner, a totally sustainable pace.

Yeah the Nick Swisher and Michael Bourn signings went to hell much quicker than they (and we Indians fans) had hoped. Interestingly both have been cut this spring from the Braves (who acquired them last season for $ and Chris Johnson's terrible contract, who himself was cut by Cleveland this offseason).

You say that now, but as we progress ever closer to viable cloning, this achievement becomes increasingly viable. ;)

It hasn't been in Boston long enough yet, it's only lightly roasted. If you prefer well-done panda just wait until the All Star Break.
