Awesome job Denny, very handy to review before making offers.Codgers wrote:I just updated the initial post with the compensation-eligible FAs for 2024. I noticed there are only 11 of them currently rather than 12 as there were last year, which makes me wonder if someone has already forfeited their pick for the upcoming season...

Re: FA Pick Compensation
Updated the original post with the FAs for 2027. Note that now there are SOME compensation-eligible FAs that can be signed without penalty, because they are coming from the WIL instead of PEBA.

Updated w/ picks for 2028, in case you didn't see it (not sure if simply editing the original post triggers the thread to display as updated).

So Aurora gets my 2nd round pick because of Ferringo. What happens if I sign another comp eligible player?

I believe what it is, is you just lose that pick and Aurora gets a Supplemental pick...Zephyrs wrote:So Aurora gets my 2nd round pick because of Ferringo. What happens if I sign another comp eligible player?

Re: FA Pick Compensation
You lose the next pick (3rd) and the compensated team gets another supplemental round pick is how it is supposed to work in that circumstance with the 2012 Collective Bargaining Rules that we have presently set in game. Key word(s) is supposed to work that way.Borealis wrote:I believe what it is, is you just lose that pick and Aurora gets a Supplemental pick...Zephyrs wrote:So Aurora gets my 2nd round pick because of Ferringo.
