When I checked the users to the forum this morning this is what was listed: Baidu [Spider], Bing [Bot], Google [Bot], Yahoo [Bot], Zephyrs
I have see these guys before and have always wondered, what is a Bot? And while we are at it, what the heck is a Spider?

Spiders and bot are basically programs that scour websites to gather data for analytic use. They are the automated things that map the internet basically.
