That was an interesting read. I took a very long trip from Cleveland Oh to Yellowstone and back inside of 9 days. It was very interesting. While yours was filled with all kinds of different sounds and smells, mine was filled with the sound of my kids snoring for most of the trip.

I've a convertible, too, and I love, Love, Love, LOVe, LOVE it - best way to travel on a road trip!!! I keep the top down as often as I can - even on foggy days here in SF (otherwise I'd never have it down... :o )!!

Great read Ron!

Sounds like a great trip. I made a trek from NC-ARZ and back a few years ago. Great memories. I did a daily(ish) blog and it was great fun keeping everyone back home informed of our adventure.

However, doing it in a dinky convertable sounds awful %-6
I love convertables if you are driving like 35mph and below. Highway driving is like being in a wind tunnel for 4 days, even if the top is up. I'll pass. lol

Really cool read, Ron. Except it now makes me wish I had a convertible. I am green with envy. %-6
