Ah, Bloom County. It and Calvin and Hobbes were the top comics of the day!

For those worried that the Bloom County strips are a bit dated simply because, similarly to Doonesbury, it dealt with a lot of current events, never fear--there is enough random goofiness with Opus, Bill the Cat, Steve Dallas, etc. that the strip as a whole still holds up in my opinion.
