Mafia Bloodbath! Conclusion

Conclusion

At one end of the block, Bo was heading
toward the theater, revolver at the ready.

Image

Nico came sauntering down the other direction,
also with a gun in his hand.

Image

Meanwhile, Vito and Mariano stood chatting about the
recent events in front of the ticket windows.

Image

"I'm not taking any chances," Vito declared,
brandishing his pistol. "Someone is out to get
us and as far as I know it's any of you."

"Relax, Vito," Mariano replied. "No harm will come
to you as long as I'm alive. I've got your back."

However, just then, gun shots rang out and
Mariano had been blasted against the steps.

Image

Moments later, Bo appeared from around the steps
with his trigger finger happily plugging away at Nico.

Image

"Enough!" yelled Vito. "You're not going
to shoot me, too!"

Image

And there lay Bo.

Rules
  1. Each player will be given a character to play who will be aligned with either the Loyalists, the Traitors, or niether. The loyalists win when all non-loyalists have been eliminated and there is at least one loyalist player alive. The traitors win when the traitors outnumber the loyalists or there is only one of each left. Players of other affiliations will have their win condition outlined in their roles.
  2. Each player will recieve a role PM containing your win condition and what you can do at night. You may not quote your role PM in any form.
  3. A game day will last approximately 24 hours. You may not vote. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will also last 24 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host within the first 12 hours of the night stage.
  4. The alignment of departed players will be revealed at the beginning of the next day.
  5. If you are dead, act like it!
  6. You may not edit your posts. Editing a post will result in immediate death.
  7. Any interpretation of rules that require clarification is at the hosts discretion and the host's word is final. Questions should be directed to the host via PM.
  8. All character alignment and roles have been randomized to protect the guilty.

Anyone is now welcome to post in this thread.

Role Assignments:
Players on each team were assigned identical roles to each other as follows:
Loyalists wrote: You will be playing the role of ??????????? and are affiliated with the Loyalists. You win when all non-loyalists have been eliminated and there is at least one loyalist player alive.

You are the Jack of All Trades. Each night, you may perform one of the following night actions in the game by PM'ing the mod. You may not use the same night action on consecutive nights.
- Investigate - Find out if another player is a loyalist or not.
- Protect - Protect one player from one night kill.
- Frame - Frame another player who will then appear to be a traitor upon investigation.
- Tailor - Tailor another player who will then appear loyal upon investigation.
- Block - Prevent another player from using their night action.
- Watch - Watch another player to see who targetted that player
- Kill - Kill another player

You may choose to not use a night action, but if you do not explicitly submit something to that effect, an action and target will be chosen for you at random.

You brought a ???????????. Good thinking!
Traitors wrote: You will be playing the role of ??????????? and are affiliated with the Traitors. You win when the traitors outnumber the loyalists or there is only one of each left. Your partner is ???????????.

You are the Jack of All Trades. Each night, you may perform one of the following night actions in the game by PM'ing the mod. You may not use the same night action on consecutive nights, and you may not use the same action as another traitor.
- Action Cop - Determine what night action, if any, a player used on the night you target them.
- Protect - Protect one player from one night kill.

Once one Traitor was killed, the Traitor requirement of not repeating an action was removed.

Night Actions/Results

Night actions had the following restrictions:
- Traitor kills were unblockable
- Only the first action of identical actions in a chained series would be successful
- The *'d actions below were randomly assigned for player who didn't get their night action in on time.

Night 1
Vito investigates Art -> Successful, Art is a dead loyalist
Narcisa investigates Mariano -> Successful, Mariano is a loyalist (I think I initially reported this as a "trip", but corrected it. Hope that didn't cause confusion)
Mariano investigates Boots -> Unsuccessful, chained investigation
Art investigates Boots -> Irrelevant, as he's dead
Boots investigates Bo -> Unsuccessful, chained investigation
Bo protects Narcisa* -> Successful, no effect

Cisco kills Art* -> Successful, Art dies
Nico watches Vito* -> Successful, no one targeted Vito.

Night 2
Vito kills Cisco -> Successful, Cisco dies
Narcisa blocks Mariano* -> Successful, Mariano's block fails
Mariano blocks Boots -> Unsuccessful, blocked by Narcisa
Boots watches Narcisa -> Irrelevant, as he's dead
Bo investigates Narcisa -> Successful, she's a loyalist

Cisco action cops Narcisa -> Irrelevant, as he's dead
Nico kills Boots* -> Successful, Boots dies

Night 3
Vito protects Mariano -> Successful, no effect
Mariano investigates Vito -> Successful, Vito is a loyalist
Narcisa investigates Vito -> Irrelevant, as she's dead
Bo protects Nico* -> Successful, no effect

Nico kills Narcisa -> Successful, Narcisa dies

Night 4
Mariano protects Vito -> Successful, no effect
Bo kills Nico -> Successful, Nico dies (this action came in after the deadline, but since it was well before I was ready to take pictures, I allowed it)
Vito kills Bo -> Successful, Bo dies

Nico kills Mariano -> Successful, Mariano dies

Wow. I'm a heroic martyr. Cool! Come to think of it, Heroic Martyred Elf would be a great name for a band.*
